Welcome to globalLead’s
Africa Regional Academy
Renewal to the Churches. Growth to the Region.
Africa is a diverse and dynamic region, with churches experiencing rapid growth and significant challenges. Many church leaders face isolation, burnout, and a lack of strategic tools to address the complex needs of their congregations and communities. Without well-equipped leaders, many churches struggle to sustain health and growth in this dynamic region.
To address this, globalLead be launching the African Regional Academy. Starting in March 2026, globalLead will host the African Regional Academy, a groundbreaking initiative designed to train and equip 24 carefully selected church leaders from six African nations. These leaders, chosen for their demonstrated potential and influence, will undergo intensive training to become catalysts for church health and growth across the region.
Join us by supporting this initiative through financial contributions or by nominating high-potential leaders to shape the future of vibrant African churches.
The Vision of globalLead Academy
The academy addresses the urgent need for resilient, visionary leaders capable of guiding their churches to thrive in Africa’s unique challenges and opportunities. Through a focus on spiritual health and strategic disciple-making, this program will create a ripple effect of transformation, extending its impact from individual leaders to churches, communities, and entire nations.
The Regional Academy offers a solution by:
- Building Resilient Leaders: Leaders will gain the spiritual strength and strategic insights needed to thrive in ministry.
- Fostering Church Health: Churches will experience renewed vitality, enabling them to disciple believers and impact their communities.
- Multiplying Impact: Trained leaders will create ripple effects, training others in their nations and contributing to a region-wide movement of church multiplication.
Our desire would be to see the following in each of the six countries by 2029:
- Trainings: at least 15 trainings conducted
- Trainees: at least 500 leaders trained
- Trainers: at least 25 trainers produced
Program Goals and Design
The Asian Regional Academy is built around two cornerstone curriculums:
- The Heart of The Leader – This soul-care program emphasizes the importance of spiritual and emotional health for church leaders. It equips participants to nurture their inner lives, fostering resilience, integrity, and Christlike leadership in the face of the demands of ministry.
- Ministry Team Strategy – This practical framework empowers church teams to lead disciple-making and multiplying churches. It provides tools to help churches establish sustainable systems for growth, discipleship, and community impact.
Participants will listen to lectures, engage in interactive sessions, spend time with the Lord, participate in personal mentoring, and attend online post-academy mentoring and coaching. The academy is intentionally designed to equip leaders to replicate these programs in their contexts, ensuring exponential impact as they train others in their countries.
Locations and Dates
The first African Regional Academy will take place from March 9 – 21, 2026. This academy will be hosted in Nairobi, Kenya.
Over these 12 days, 24 leaders, chosen for their demonstrated potential and influence, will undergo intensive training to become catalysts for church health and growth across the region.
