Penny Davis works as a bookkeeper for globalLead’s International Office. Her staff responsibilities include assisting with accounting for our International Office and overseeing the overseas ministries’ financial affairs.
She has been with globalLead since January 2002, working alongside her husband, globalLead’s Executive Director, Chris. She enjoys taking care of all the financial details associated with the ministry, as well as, interacting with the overseas office staff in maintaining the financial records of globalLead.
Penny and her husband, Chris, have one son, Levi. When not serving, she enjoys decorating her home and taking care of her family!
Hannah Stevenson, International Administrative Assistant
Hannah started working with globalLead as a temp in November of 2021 but has since transitioned into a permanent role at the International Office. She serves as Chris’ personal assistant–responsible for his calendar, travel and event planning, website needs, editing, and any other special projects or chaos needing coordination. She loves working in the background and doing as much as possible to make others’ roles in the ministry as easy as possible.
She thinks often of Scripture and soul care and, on her days off, can be found writing about them, simplifying Biblical truths for ministers and laypersons alike. In both her work as a writer and as an administrative assistant for globalLead, she fulfills her calling to “make things make sense,” whether through explanation or organization. She works remotely and lives in Greenwood, SC with her husband, Mark.

Africa Office: Kenya & Ethiopia
The ministry of globalLead in Africa has been in existence since 1998. Over those years, our teams have trained youth leaders from over 15 African countries!
There now exist several teams of trainers who carry out the trainings in various regions of the African continent. Specifically, we are targeting areas that have never had the opportunity for training. This includes very remote areas as well as countries with growing numbers of Muslims.
Partnerships are ongoing with a large denomination of churches in Ethiopia (over 8000 churches), as well as the largest denomination in Uganda and various groups in Kenya. Work is also taking place in Tanzania and there are new opportunities springing up in several other African nations. Africa is projected to be the world’s fastest-growing area in the next 70 years, and we praise God for planting us there.
If you are a ministry leader in Africa and would like to have more details about our work in your continent, please fill out the contact form on the home page with details or send a message on the gL Africa Facebook page. Remember to include your location/country in the message.
Southeast Asia Office: Philippines
The ministry of globalLead in the Philippines is uniquely positioned to impact millions of people for Christ. globalLead has been working in and through the Philippines since 1998. Today, our Filipino staff runs our SE Asia team entirely at our office location. Annually they train over 600 leaders who reach and disciple upwards of 12,000 people annually.
The ministry has expanded beyond the Philippines and the teams there have conducted trainings in over 10 different Asian nations. Annually, teams from the Philippines go to other Southwest Asian countries to set up ministry locations and local teams.
Our staff leads a growing team of volunteer trainers, hosts, and critical partners, not just in the Philippines but in other Asian countries, who all have a vested interest in partnering in reaching and discipling people for Christ, through the equipping of ministry leaders.
Visit their Facebook page to see what the SE Asia office has been up to.
Northwest Asia Office
globalLead currently serves in multiple regions of Asia. Due to the sensitive nature of serving in these areas, we cannot share information about some of these locations on our website. But rest assured, God’s work is being done!
Europe Office: In-Development
Nixon Echavez is the new Regional Director for globalLead Europe. He may have been prepared by the Lord long before his appointment. When the Lord sent him to Europe to pursue further theological education, he also ministered to churches in almost a dozen countries. In his travels, he has seen some of the most amazing views and scenic spots. Yet, he was also disturbed in his spirit by the spiritual darkness that engulfed the continent. Gradually, a burden developed in his heart for the people of this land.
