For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ…For the body does not consist of one member but of many…

But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.

1 Corinthians 12:12,14, 18-20

In the USA, we use the term “lone ranger” to mean someone who does things all by themselves. It’s a phrase that refers to a person who is NOT a team player, who would rather go at life alone than invite and rely on others to accomplish a greater goal. Fortunately, neither you nor I need to identify with such a title.

In your ministry of globalLead, you are part of our team. We know we need each other to succeed in the Great Commission, so we have joined hands and resources. We have many other partners when it comes to the actual field ministry as well.

I recently returned from the Atlanta, Georgia area where I met with 5 other global youth ministry training organizations (pictured above). We have been collaborating to train leaders around the globe for over 7 years now, and it has been amazing to serve each other and accomplish more together than we could do individually. (If you’re interested in learning more about what we do together, you can visit our collaborative website.)

Additionally, globalLead has joined the Pastoral Mentoring International Network (PMIN). This past month, we had a Zoom call with over 100 globally-minded leaders committed to shepherding pastors around the globe!

We are so blessed to have found like-minded organizations, supporters, volunteers, and staff. Join us this month in praising God that we don’t have to accomplish His mission on our own. When God purposes to do something, He invites vibrant and generous disciples to commit their time, energy, resources, and gifts. He provides gifts and callings within the Church as He chose. The Spirit empowers us to will and to work for His pleasure and in unity. Christ holds us together, so we never bear the burdens of ministry or life alone. Praise God for His design.

Thank you for being a part of His team so we can all be and do better together.
