Back home to the USA after 2 weeks of ministry and I am trying to decide what to say to you as an update in a few words and pictures. The Bible often communicates our hearts better than we can. David communicated my heart in regards to your prayers and what God has done over the past two weeks:
Psalm 61:1-2: “Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Please celebrate what it is that you get to do through your prayers and support of globalLead both locally and around the world. We prayed together and God led our teams to Him in incredible ways, so that we can go out to the ends of the earth for His purposes!
Thank you for praying and supporting the growing ministry both locally and globally.

In Kenya, we gathered 45 people from 9 different countries for the first-ever Heart of the Leader event for Africa. All of those gathered were ministry leaders! Together they were following David’s prayer from above…calling to you (God), when their heart is faint, desiring to be led to the rock (Christ Jesus) that is higher than themselves. God answered your prayers and theirs as you can see in the pictures here. We had mentors in training from 3 different countries that are beginning to spread these events globally!
The wonderful African country of Ethiopia was a real joy, as I trained 36 ministry leaders in Level 2 and 3 of our materials for Youth Ministry Strategy. They signed up to continue to train more leaders throughout their country. Most of the participants are in the midst of a Masters Degree program at a local seminary that we partner with. The multiplication potential in this country is phenomenal, as one of the students alone oversees over the ministry to youth in over 8000 churches. By the way, 70% of the country’s population are considered youth or children!(Pictured are the students teaching, training, and worshiping as we met together).
The other portion of my training travels occurred in Akron, Ohio. It is amazing to me that when you teach principles from God’s Word and the life of Jesus that they work not only in Africa, but in our country as well! They work in the big churches, in the big cities, and in church plants in smaller towns, locally and globally. In Akron, Ohio, Jack Dyson and I led trainings with 30 leaders in ministry areas of The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. One of these groups is planning to take the trainings they received to their mission posts around the globe. The other groups were local church plants in the suburbs and portions of Akron. We received incredible feedback on how the simple tools from Scripture will be used in all of the locations.
