Grace Malicdem is the Southeast Asia Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper for globalLead. She started as a volunteer in 2008 helping in the area of trainings and bookkeeping. She joined as staff in March 2011. She is involved in globalLead because she believes in training youth leaders. She believes this ministry helps youth ministries and other Christian organizations with leadership trainings as they establish a relationship within their community for the sake of Christ. Grace has always been active in her own local churches ministry leadership development as well as assisting in starting new ministry locations.
Grace enjoys looking at God’s creation (nature) and pondering her thoughts there. Her favorite national food is Balut.
Pray with her as she continues the journey of her life where the Lord has put her in this ministry. In addition, pray for her ongoing need for funding so she can continue to fill her role of serving the other staff, volunteers as well those being trained in Southeast Asia.
The ministry of globalLead in the Philippines is uniquely positioned to impact millions of people for Christ. globalLead has been working in and through the Philippines since 1998. Today, the team is run exclusively by our Filipino staff through our office location there. Annually, they train over 600 leaders who reach and disciple upwards of 12,000 people annually.
The ministry has expanded beyond the Philippines and the teams there have conducted trainings in over 10 different Asian nations. Annually teams from the Philippines go to other Southwest Asian countries to set up ministry locations and local teams as well.
Our staff leads a growing team of volunteer trainers, hosts and key partners, not just in the Philippines but in other Asia countries, who all have vested interest in partnering in reaching and discipling people for Christ, through the equipping of ministry leaders.
