God has a unique and fun way of orchestrating His plan. While we had never heard of globalLead, a friend shared with Jack an open position with globalLead. As I learned more about what, and as importantly how, globalLead’s strategy plays out, I was hooked. Playing a part in globalLead’s strategic calling to equip and mentor precious people in ministry so that God’s work is multiplied is a great honor.
Jesus’ emphasis in the parable of the four soils has captured my heart and imagination. In an environment where seed would produce three to seven-fold in a year, Jesus says that we can produce thirty or sixty or one hundred-fold! How amazing is that? How exciting to be a part of such miraculous internal and external growth in people!
Through the years, my wife and I have had the privilege of being a part of very fruitful ministry. Whether it was with Young Life in Frederick, MD and York, PA or directing the small group ministry at two churches in York, we have been a part of God doing 30-60-100-fold growth. Jack and Gladys have ministered in several countries in Asia and Europe. Jack, also, was on the training team for NavPress Small Group Seminars.
Jack and Gladys have two married children and three grandchildren. They enjoy college basketball and lacrosse. Gladys is a passionate teacher, vitalizing kindergarteners to life-long development. Jack played competitive soccer until surpassing his sixth decade. While competing for the slowest runner on the pitch, he was able to help the ball find the goal regularly. For fun, Jack organizes baseball tours around Major League Baseball. He has visited every stadium at least twice.
We are excited, honored, and privileged to be on the globalLead team.
